Tell us your background in PT
I’m a licensed Physical Therapist, a graduate of Our Lady of Fatima University-Valenzuela (Class of 2024), and a December 2024 board passer. This is my first professional role as a PT, but I’ve gained hands-on experience during my internships in managing musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurologic, geriatric, and pediatric cases.
What are your interests:
My interests weave together in creativity, movement, and service. I create content as a social media officer for the company and an advocate for PWD empowerment. My heart leans strongly towards advocacy, especially for empowering persons with disabilities and children. In the past, I’ve been humbled to serve through charity works with Mandaue SPED School, Gasa sa Gugma destitute, and served as a PT intern with Servants of Charity, where I learned that true healing extends beyond the clinic and into communities.
Tell us about a life changing experience or adventure you’ve been on
A life-changing experience for me was learning how to fund my own self when I entered college. I had to juggle different side hustles while studying, which meant balancing deadlines, responsibilities, and academics. It taught me resilience, grit, and the tenacity to keep moving forward. That journey didn’t just help me survive college, it shaped me into someone who knows how to adapt, persevere, and work hard for every opportunity.
What is your area of expertise
My area of expertise centers on assessing and managing musculoskeletal cases, with a focus on designing individualized rehabilitation programs. My approach is centered on restoring functional movement, preventing re-injury, and helping patients achieve their personal goals whether in daily function, work, or sport.
What is the most fulfilling part of job?
What I find most fulfilling is seeing the progress of my patients whether it’s a small step or a big milestone. Being part of their recovery journey and giving them hope amidst their challenges is what makes this job most meaningful to me.
