Tell us about your background in Physiotherapy.
I graduated from the University of the Philippines-Manila in 2008. I was one of the pioneer physical therapists of a top tertiary hospital in Taguig. I also have experience handling children with developmental concerns having worked in a pediatric therapy center. Prior to joining Prohealth, I was an itinerant physical therapist mainly to elderly patients with neurological and musculoskeletal cases.
What are your interests?
Traveling to different places and experiencing their local culture and cuisines.
Tell us about a life-changing experience or adventures you’ve been on.
With family and friends having covid, and being continuously exposed to it as a healthcare professional, I realized that we should not take the simple things for granted, especially our health. Taking care of yourself and staying healthy should always be a priority so you can better take care of your loved ones.
What is your area of expertise?
Post-surgical rehabilitation, functional strength and balance training for older adults, paediatric rehabilitation (fitness for kids and adolescents)
What is the most fulfilling part of the job?
Seeing my patients achieving their goals and helping them perform their daily activities as independently and pain-free as possible.
